Local Students Get Hands-On Experience At CORROSION: Opportunities Realized Mini-Camp

Mar 30, 2017

In CORROSION 2017 you might notice some students walking around in bright green shirts. The NACE Foundation is hosting CORROSION: Opportunities Realized, where 53 local high school students from New Orleans are participating in an all-day corrosion mini-camp event.

Students will conduct hands-on corrosion experiments from the NACE Foundation’s cKit™ and will learn about basic scientific principles in corrosion. They will also hear from several guest speakers and learn about academic opportunities and careers in corrosion from industry professionals during a tour of the CORROSION 2017 Exhibit Hall.
